Applications for a small floater with excellent motion characteristics are numerous. MI&T has developed, in partnership with various organizations, several related applications of the MiniFloat technology, ranging from oceanographic data acquisition systems in remote areas to self-propelled dynamically-positioned vessels capable of speeds up to 8 knots.
